Baked Wings with Homemade Sticky Honey Jalapeno BBQ Sauce

Happy Sunday! I have more jalapeno recipes for you! I am using up the last bounty of peppers that came out of the garden a couple of weeks ago.

Looking for a tasty appetizer to munch on while cheering on your team today? Look no further! These wings are simple and tasty! Finger licking good to be exact! The perfect combination of sweet and spicy! They are SO EASY too!

Ingredients

10-12 chicken wings

2-3  jalapenos

1/2 cup of honey

2 cloves of garlic

1/4 cup of molasses

1/2 cup of ketchup

1/4 cup of fresh parsley

tbsp of white vinegar

salt and pepper

Yields: 2 servings

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place wings on a baking sheet and salt and pepper both sides. Baked for about 15 minutes.

Remove parsley from stems and place in food processor or blender. Cut the top stems off the jalapenos and chop in half, add to the food processor.

TIP: If you don’t want your wings really spicy, remove the seeds and membranes of the jalapeno. This is what makes the jalapeno hot! It will cut down the heat.

Add garlic, molasses, ketchup, vinegar, honey, a pinch of salt and pepper into the food processor and blend until smooth.

Remove wings from the oven after 15 minutes and coat the wings in the sauce. Place back on baking sheet and continue baking for another 15 minutes or until cooked all the way through.

Remove from the oven and brush more sauce onto the wings. Allow wings to cool slightly and serve with ranch! Oh, and lots of napkins!

These wings are delicious! Plus they are baked, so we can say they are healthy right? Regardless, this sticky honey jalapeno BBQ sauce is SO GOOD! A good way to use up some of those peppers and parsley out of the garden! Y’all are going to love this sticky goodness!

GO PACK GO!!

Grow it. Pick it. Cook it. Eat it.
